康樂及文化事務署（康文署）將於八月八日「全民運動日」免費開放康樂設施予公眾使用，包括公眾泳池設施。
因市民免費享用康文署轄下的公眾泳池設施（灣仔游泳池及荔枝角公園游泳池除外）無須事先預約，只須於當日各泳池每節開放時段前，在泳池入口處排隊輪候，先到先得，額滿即止。因此預期當日泳池將會非常繁忙，因此本會決定當日所有泳班暫停舉行一天，順延下星期舉行。
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) has announced that August 8 will be “Sport For All Day”. The public can enjoy free admission to LCSD sports facilities including swimming pools.
Public can enjoy free admission to LCSD’s swimming pools (except for Wan Chai Swimming Pool and Lai Chi Kok Park Swimming Pool) during the day; no prior booking is required. Those interested should line up at the entrance to the pools before their opening hours of each session on that day for admission on a first-come-first-served basis.
Thus, it is expected the pool would be packed with people so we decide to suspend class on the day, and resume class the week after.
